Tami collaborates with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary ambulatory leadership and management teams to support the clinical practice and operations across ambulatory care. 

Before her work at Mass General, Tami served in various administrative roles at Academic Medical Center’s in Boston, including Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Most recently, serving as the Vice President for Quality and Patient Safety at Franciscan Children’s Hospital, Brighton, Massachusetts.

Her nursing career spans over 27 years, specializing in patient and family-centered primary care, value-based care, specialty care, chronic care management, interdisciplinary team-based care models, vaccines, telephone triage and call center operations, clinical operations, professional development, coaching and mentoring, lean methodology, continuous process improvement and workflow redesign, and quality and patient safety. 

Tami is a graduate of the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care Leadership Academy. She is a member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses Association and serves as a member of the Massachusetts Hospital Association Clinical Issues Advisory Council.  Her recognitions include the Boston Children’s Hospital Nurses Leading in Innovation Springboard award and the Athena Health and MIT Hacking Medicine award for the development of a vaccine management software. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Fisher College and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from Endicott College.
