About Labrini Nelligan, MS

Labrini I. Nelligan began her career at Mass General in 2007, as associate director of Development Campaigns and Logistics. During her six years in the Mass General Development office, Labrini served on the Capital Campaign team which led several large-scale Campaign initiatives such as the internal and external Campaign announcement events, the staffing of the Capital Campaign Steering Committee, and the planning and installation of the first-ever Visionary Donor Wall at MGH. Labrini was appointed Executive Director of the Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine in November 2012. The Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine is a one-of-a- kind health education program that links an academic medical center with a neighboring state. The program is charged with addressing targeted public health issues through continuing education for Maine health care providers. Labrini has served as a principal on the Lunder-Dineen team since the inception of the program and has been instrumental in building the team, infrastructure and learning environment, as well as effectively supporting the evolving nature of the program. She oversees all business and personnel operations of Lunder-Dineen including: Maine outreach and networking; administrative and financial operations; marketing and communications, as well as strategic relations to key stakeholders, volunteer leadership and donors such as the Lunder-Dineen Advisory Committee. Prior to her work at MGH, Labrini served as scheduler for Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly and later as a fundraiser on his gubernatorial campaign. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University and a M.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University.
