About Patrice Osgood, RN, DNP, NE-BC, CNOR

Patrice Osgood, RN, DNP, NE-BC, CNOR is the Associate Chief Nurse of Perioperative and GI Endoscopy Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Osgood oversees more than 1,000 staff members comprising over 500 nursing professionals, technologists and support staff in collaboration with nurse directors, nurse managers and nurse practice specialists. She has been a registered nurse for more than 38 years, with nursing experience that includes medical/surgical, critical care, post anesthesia care, operating room, clinical education and administration.

Her areas of focus include promoting a culture of safety, encouraging a multidisciplinary team approach to improving the patient care experience, quality and process improvement, leadership development, and innovation to ensure a strong future nursing workforce.

Dr. Osgood received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College, her Master of Science in Leadership with Health Management concentration from Northeastern University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She received a Certificate of Achievement from Villanova University in Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare.

She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, the American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
