About Patrice Osgood, RN, DNP, NE-BC, CNOR

Patrice Osgood, RN, DNP, NE-BC, CNOR is the Associate Chief Nurse of Perioperative and Procedural Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. In collaboration with unit-based nursing leadership, Patrice oversees the Center for Perioperative Care, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Operating room, Endoscopy, Waltham and Danvers Outpatient Surgery Centers, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Pulmonary, Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs.  She has been a registered nurse for over 40 years, with nursing experience that includes medical/surgical, critical care, post anesthesia care, operating room, clinical education and administration.

Her areas of focus include promoting a culture of safety, the patient experience, multidisciplinary teamwork, quality and process improvement, leadership development, and innovation to ensure a strong future nursing workforce.

Dr. Osgood received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College, her Master of Science in Leadership with Health Management concentration from Northeastern University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She received a Certificate of Achievement from Villanova University in Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare.

She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and the American Nurses Association.
