At Mass General Waltham, our nutritionist helps guide patients to a better understanding of how nutrition and exercise can improve management of medical conditions, including:

What to Expect

Your first appointment with nutritionist Eileen Buckley, RD, PhD, lasts one hour. During your consultation, she will ask you about your health goals, medical history and whether you have any special needs. You will leave your first appointment with a customized nutrition and exercise plan.

Most follow-up visits last 30 minutes. These visits include nutrition counseling and menu planning. You can also discuss successes or challenges of your nutrition plan as well as lab results that may impact your nutrition plan.

Appointments

Contact us at 781-487-4300 to schedule an appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least five business days beforehand to avoid a cancellation fee.

Insurance & Fees

Please check with your insurer to confirm whether you are covered for services by our nutritionist. We can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

Whether you will be reimbursed or are paying out of pocket, please plan to pay for your visit when you arrive. The fee for your initial consultation is $120. Follow-up visits are $60.
