Overview

We are pleased to announce a unique one-two year fellowship that combines laboratory and clinical research in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry (OMFS) at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Curriculum

The OMFS Pediatric research fellow pursues a rigorous agenda with about 60% of his or her time in research and 40% in patient care.

Clinical Experience

The fellowship includes 60% time in research and 40% time in patient care. The research program is carried out at the Mass General with projects in skeletal molecular biology, wound healing, tissue regeneration, and distraction osteogenesis. Patient care activity is at MGfC. Emphasis is placed on both patient care and research in Pediatric OMFS. The fellow serves as an attending surgeon on the Ward Service supervising residents and participating in the trauma on-call schedule.
