Patients serve a vital role in the ongoing development of the Ambulatory Practice of the Future (APF) at Massachusetts General Hospital, with the most visible and powerful being their presence on the Care Alliance. The Care Alliance is a “patient and family advisory council,” through which patients and families take an active role in developing and improving the patient's experience of care at the APF. These voices are represented to ensure that new programs and developments remain aligned with providing a second-to-none health care experience.
One of the ways the Care Alliance can help you learn what’s happening in your APF medical home is via our new quarterly newsletter, The Link. Written for you by fellow patients in the Care Alliance, we want to help you be an informed and active participant in your health and wellness journey! Look for profiles of the care team, useful health and wellness tips, and discussions of the impact of changes at Mass General and Mass General Brigham, as they relate to you and how you receive care. We welcome your ideas for topics of interest and value to you. Let us know.
The Care Alliance is interested in your feedback and in learning from your care experience. We encourage you to email us with your comments. By emailing the Care Alliance, you understand that the information that you are submitting is not anonymous and will be reviewed by a member of the APF Care Alliance. You may be contacted for further clarification or information within one week. We thank you, in advance, for your help in creating a second-to-none care experience.
