The Revere Youth Zone is a free after-school program that operates as part of Massachusetts General Hospital. It serves youth ages 9-17 in the Revere community.
Hours of Operation Monday-Friday, 2:30-6:00 pm
Participation in an after-school program has been proven to contribute to positive outcomes for students during childhood and adolescence. Out-of-school time period between the hours of 3-6 pm is a critical window where youth may engage in risky or unsafe activities. In response to a need for a fun and safe place to go after school, the Youth Zone provides a variety of enrichment programming for youth ages 9-17 in the Revere community.
In all of these activities, Youth Zone members are encouraged to consider the ways they can make a positive impact in their community. We offer a unique Peer Leaders program for those ages 13 and up to engage in community service projects, serve as role models to younger members and participate in special events. We value the input of our families and always encourage them to contribute to our Youth Zone community.
