Tobacco Treatment Service
The Mass General Tobacco Treatment Service is a multidisciplinary team of health professionals who specialize in helping smokers become nonsmokers. We offer low-cost, state-of-the-art tobacco treatment services to patients, employees and other members of the community.
MGH Community Health Associates’ Living TOBACCO-FREE program helps people quit cigarettes and other forms of tobacco. Trained coaches work one-on-one with people who are thinking about quitting tobacco to help them create an individualized plan for quitting. Coaches coordinate with a person’s medical providers and will make referrals to other helpful resources. Living TOBACCO-FREE’s services are free to everyone, without any co-pay. The Clinical Effort Against Secondhand Smoke Exposure (CEASE) program equips pediatric health care clinicians to help families quit smoking and improve children's health.
Center for Addiction Medicine and Schizophrenia Program
At the Mass General Smoking Cessation Program, people with schizophrenia receive the best in personally tailored behavioral and medication treatment for smoking cessation as well as prevention of relapse to smoking.
Smokefree Support Service
The Mass General Cancer Center Smokefree Support Service provides a free, phone-based, one-on-one tobacco counseling resource for all Cancer Center patients.
