To celebrate May as Stroke Awareness Month, we are excited to launch the the third annual #30x30StopStroke challenge! The goal is to get as many as of us as possible to exercise for 30 minutes a day for 30 days in May—to help prevent stroke, maintain and increase our physical and mental well-being, and have some fun!
To participate in the #30x30StopStroke challenge, you can download a tracking form here. You can even form a team and start some friendly competition amongst your colleagues! At the end of the month, submit your forms to firstname.lastname@example.org to be entered to win a free month membership at the Clubs at Charles River Park (CCRP). Any team where every member completes the 30x30 challenge will be recognized and entered to win a prize.
As part of the #30x30StopStroke campaign, we will also be hosting several events throughout the month:

Stay tuned for email tips on stroke prevention throughout the month, and be sure to share photos of your exercise journey on social media, tagging our Facebook and Twitter pages, using the hashtag #30x30StopStroke. We’d love to see all the creative ways you fit exercise in during the week – walking meetings, running up and down Beacon Hill, or squats in your office! Photos submitted on social media or to email@example.com will be entered in a drawing to win 2 personal training sessions with CCRP trainer Katie Morgis! Also, be sure to look for special #30x30StopStroke fitness classes during May at CCRP!
To kick off #30x30StopStroke, Dr. Lee Schwamm, Division Chief of MGH Stroke Service, shares why exercise is crucial to reducing your risk of stroke and offers a “30 x 30” challenge.
