I work as the Disability Program Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital. With a mission to create an inclusive and barrier-free environment for everyone, the Disability Program was created to provide support to patients with disabilities at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The Disability Program has since expanded and also focuses on raising awareness on accessibility for resident physicians with disabilities at the hospital.

Through my journey in life, I learned an invaluable lesson: people can contribute and support others no matter what barriers they might experience. It’s important for community members of diverse abilities to have a seat at the table to help advocate for inclusive policies as well as encourage stakeholders to help champion these efforts.

This Is Me

In celebration of our community’s diverse abilities, we present the This Is Me exhibit. This Is Me amplifies the voices of individuals living with disabilities and chronic health conditions, caregivers and disability rights activists.
