Blood Donor Center
Blood Donation IS Considered Essential
Blood donors ARE considered essential per the Governor’s executive order on March 23, 2020. Please keep your appointments if you have one and if you are eligible to donate, please consider making an appointment. There will be an ongoing need for donors.
Can I Donate?
All blood donors must meet Massachusetts General Hospital’s eligibility requirements to donate whole blood, platelets or red blood cells.
Volunteer donors are needed every day to provide blood for the thousands of patients who need it.
We encourage companies and organizations of all sizes to donate blood through an organized blood drive or car service.
