Climate change is an urgent public health problem that impacts individual, community, and population health. In this Massachusetts General Hospital Blum Center presentation from December 12, 2022, at-risk populations are the focus. Factors that contribute to health disparities and have greater impacts on people who are vulnerable to climate change impacts are also discussed. These factors include poverty, racial discrimination, inadequate healthcare access, inadequate education, unhealthy living situations, unsafe working conditions, and more.

The Climate Change and Health Series is a collaboration among the Maxwell & Eleanor Blum Patient and Family Learning Center, the Mass General Center for the Environment and Health, and the MGH Institute of Health Professions Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health.
