In this Massachusetts General Hospital Blum Center presentation from July 25, 2022, Patrice Nicholas, DNSc, DHL (Hon), MPH, MS, RN, NP-C, FAAN, and Suellen Breakey, PhD, RN, provide an overview of vector-borne diseases in our climate-changing world. They review the impact of climate change as one factor that influences the spread of diseases carried by vectors such as fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Lyme disease, an example of a vector-borne disease that is increasing due to climate change, will also be discussed.

The Climate Change and Health Series is a collaboration among the Maxwell & Eleanor Blum Patient and Family Learning Center, the Mass General Center for the Environment and Health, and the MGH Institute of Health Professions Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health.
