Mass General Cancer Center’s Dr. Bev Moy explains what patients can expect during a multidisciplinary appointment. The care team – including breast specialists in nursing; medical, radiation, and surgical oncology; pathology; and radiology -- see patients in a single location. Each specialist meets with the patient and then meets with other members of the team to review data and make the best recommendation. Patients leave the appointment knowing what to expect next.
