Patients with bone and soft tissue sarcomas benefit from the collective expertise of a multidisciplinary team at Mass General for Children that includes: 

Massachusetts General Hospital pioneered the first limb-sparing procedures for patients with these malignancies. Through our close, longstanding collaboration with the Mass General Cancer Center’s orthopaedic oncology surgeons, we have extensive experience providing this option to our pediatric patients, with excellent results. For patients whose tumors are not amenable to surgery, we offer state of the art radiation treatments, including proton beam radiotherapy at Mass General’s Francis H. Burr Proton Therapy Center.
