About Us

We are located in Boston's West End, a short walk from the main hospital and the hospital's shuttle service. We are conveniently located within walking distance of public transportation (North Station, Charles/MGH Station and Bowdoin MBTA Station).

Please Note: GPS directions to 50 Staniford Street will take you to a patient drop off area off O’Connell Way, on the side of the building. The parking garage is located at 62 Staniford Street (underneath the building). We see dermatology patients on the 2nd Floor, suite 200 and on the 8th floor, suite 807.  Please check your confirmation for the correct floor.

  • Accessible Access: The building at 50 Staniford Street is handicapped accessible.
  • Public Transit: From the Blue Line:
    • Take the Blue Line to Bowdoin Station
    • Exit the station and turn right onto Cambridge Street
    • Walk one block to Staniford Street
    • Turn right onto Staniford Street and 50 Staniford Street will be on your left 
    • The front entrance to 50 Staniford is accessed from O'Connell Way.

    From North Station: 

    • Take the Green or Orange Line or commuter rail to North Station
    • Exit the station and head southwest on Causeway Street, toward the Thomas P. O’Neill, Jr. Federal Building
    • Cross Lomasney Way intersection and walk down Staniford Street
    • 50 Staniford Street will be on your right
    • The front entrance to 50 Staniford is accessed from O'Connell Way.

    From the Red Line: 

    • Exit at the Charles/MGH station and follow Cambridge Street to the fourth traffic signal
    • Turn left onto Staniford Street
    • 50 Staniford Street will be on your left.
    • The front entrance to 50 Staniford is accessed from O'Connell Way.
  • Shuttle Service: The free Mass General shuttle bus runs between several Mass General locations, including 50 Staniford Street. View full shuttle schedule.
  • Parking:

    A private parking garage is located under the building and the entrance is on Staniford Street. Mass General Hospital does not own or operate this garage. They do not accept cash, but they do accept most major credit cards. If you park in this garage, ask the receptionist when you check in for your dermatology appointment for a discount parking card before you return to your car.

    Patients may park at the Mass General garages and receive discounted patient rates. The closest Mass General Garage is at 209 Cambridge Street. From the garage, take the elevator to 165 Cambridge Street, exit the lobby door and turn right. Follow the pathway around Whole Foods and cross Cardinal O ’Connell Way. 50 Staniford Street will be directly in front of you. When you return, pay the cashier in the lobby of 165 Cambridge to receive the Mass General rate. Note: Rates do not apply if you park on the upper deck of Charles River Plaza.
