About Olivia Ford, MS, RDN, LDN

Olivia Ford is a Registered Dietitian. Olivia’s role within the Mass General Weight Center is to provide evidence-based nutrition support while prioritizing a patient-centered approach to help each patient incorporate a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Within this role she treats patients pursuing bariatric surgery, utilizing GLP-1 medications and those focusing on lifestyle change while participating in group nutrition program(s). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Health Promotion Science at the University of Connecticut while completing necessary clinical hours to become a Registered Dietitian. Before transitioning to her current role, Olivia spent a year and a half with the Mount Auburn Hospital Weight Management Center in Waltham, Massachusetts working with a similar patient population to that of the Mass General Weight Center. In her previous role she developed a deeper understanding of the disease of obesity, treatment options and honed her counseling skills. Olivia is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Outside of her professional tenure, Olivia teaches group Pilates classes, enjoys running and loves visiting the beach in her home state of Rhode Island.
