My research focuses on developing multilevel interventions to promote health behaviors and well-being, broadly with an eye toward obesity and chronic disease prevention. I study the role of emotions in health behavior change, including the use of positive psychology. My research has also focused on patients with cardiovascular disease and diabetes, as well as children and older adults.
