About the Event

The Massachusetts General Hospital Cambridge Street Project includes the construction of a new hospital building on the hospital's main Boston campus. It will house the Mass General Cancer Center, Heart Center and 482 inpatient beds.

In a recent Grand Rounds webinar event co-hosted by the MGH Institute of Health Professions Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health and the Mass General Center for the Environment and Health, a panel discussed the approaches and challenges to achieving the hospital's environmental sustainability and resiliency goals throughout this project. The panel examined lessons learned thus far, including balancing multiple, and often conflicting, demands for the new building.
