Breast Cancer Awareness 2018: Mass General Events
Mass General Imaging is hosting educational events throughout the Greater Boston area in October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Visit any one of our scheduling depots to schedule a mammogram and learn more about breast cancer screening. Screening can help detect breast cancer early when treatment can be more effective.
Staff from the Avon Comprehensive Breast Care Center will be available to answer questions and schedule appointments in the main lobby of the Gray Building near Coffee Central on Mass General's main campus in Boston:
- Friday, October 12, 11:00 am –1:00 pm
- Tuesday, October 23, 11:00 am –1:00 pm
- Monday, October 29, 11:00 am –1:00 pm
Breast radiologist Anand K. Narayan, MD, PhD/ is giving a talk entitled "Breast Cancer Screening Controversies: Who, What, When, Where and Why Should Women Be Screened?" at the Blum Center in the White Building (White 110) on Mass General's main campus in Boston:

Mass General Imaging - Waltham staff will be available to answer questions and schedule appointments outside the Corporate Café at 52 Second Avenue, Building 52 in Waltham:

Staff from the Division of Breast Imaging in the Mass General Department of Radiology will be available to answer questions and schedule appointments in the main lobby at Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care:

Staff from MGH Revere HealthCare Center will be available to answer questions and schedule appointments in the front entrance of the main lobby:
