About Anne Carr, RN, MSN, GNP-BC

Anne Carr is a Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience in the field of Geriatrics and Palliative Care. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University and holds a BA in Religion. She went on to study Nursing at Yale and received her BSN and MSN from Yale School of Nursing.

Anne previously worked for the BU Geriatric Service at Boston Medical Center and was the founding NP on the inpatient Palliative Care Service. Prior to joining the Home Based Palliative Team at Massachusetts General Hospital, Anne practiced Geriatrics and Palliative Care at Hebrew Senior Life and was trained in the UCLA Dementia Care Management model. Through this work she deepened her understanding of the intersection of Palliative and Dementia Care.

Outside of work Anne plays the flute with various ensembles and enjoys Pilates, walking her large dog Moses and spending time with family in Maine, Vermont and Oregon. She is the proud mother of Amelia (23) and Will (19). She resides in Wayland.
