Jacqui is a clinical social worker with the inpatient Palliative Care team, supporting both the consult service and the Supportive Care Unit. She earned her Master’s in Social Work in 2017 from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. Jacqui completed some of her clinical training at the University of Colorado in their Neurosurgical ICU where she was hired upon graduation. She worked at the University of Colorado until returning to the East Coast in June 2020 and beginning her work at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Neurosciences ICU. Her work in the ICU setting and frequent collaboration with the Palliative Care teams motivated Jacqui to pursue a career in the field, ultimately joining the Palliative Care team in 2024. She attended the HMS Palliative Care Education and Practice course and pursued a Palliative and End-of-Life Certification through the Smith College of Social Work. Jacqui is also a core member of The Continuum Project and helps to facilitate Serious Illness Communication Trainings.
