Michaela received her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Vermont and her master’s specializing in adult oncology from Yale University. She is board certified in Adult Gerontology Primary Care and holds advanced certifications in oncology as well as hospice and palliative care. She is a graduate of the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship and joined the Massachusetts General Hospital Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine as staff in 2018. She is the Nursing Education and Training Lead for the Continuum Project and has a special interests in the integration of palliative care principles in the care of patients and families facing oncology diagnoses and serious illness.
