About Pamela Woo Williams, MSN, ANP-BC, ACHPN

Pam Williams, NP joined the Massachusetts General Hospital division of palliative care and geriatric medicine in 2015. Pam is a palliative care nurse practitioner in the home based arm of the division. She provides care for adult patients, and their families, who are facing the challenges of serious illnesses, end stage diseases, and frailty in their homes. Prior to Mass General, she worked in primary care with geriatrics and was the clinical coordinator at East Boston PACE. Pam has an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in biochemistry. She completed her master of science in nursing from Simmons Graduate School for Health Studies in Boston, MA and a post-master certificate in palliative care from George Washington University. She is board certified as an adult nurse practitioner and an advanced hospice and palliative care nurse. Her interests are in education and she has completed the program for educators in health professions at the Harvard Macy Institute. She enjoys guest lecturing at the MGH Institute for Health Professions and has coordinated NP preceptorships within the division.
