About Todd Rinehart, LICSW, ACHP-SW-C

Prior to entering the field of social work, Todd’s background included working in the arena of Performing and Administrative Arts. Volunteering as a “buddy” for people with HIV/AIDS in the early 90’s solidified his interest in end-of-life care and led him to graduate school.

Todd has his master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and Communications from the University of Tulsa and UNLV respectively. Todd is recognized as a Clinical Scholar in the Social Work through the MGH Clinical Recognition Program. Todd is on faculty at the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care, and Course Planner for Practical Aspects of Palliative Care.

Since 2010, Todd has served as a volunteer bereavement counselor at Comfort Zone Camp, a camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person.
