We specialize in primary care of older adults with the goal of emphasizing preventive care and health maintenance. Our physicians work in teams with nurse practitioners, social workers, case managers as well as geriatric psychiatrists, geriatric cardiology and geriatric urology. We are particularly interested in helping manage the challenges facing patients with multiple chronic conditions, functional limitations, cognitive impairment and their families.
Mass General is a teaching hospital, and we are pleased to work in collaboration with physicians in training (doctors who are pursuing additional training in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine) who may see you in addition to our staff.
Upon discharge from the hospital we request that you make a follow -up appointment with your physician or our nurse practitioners. Please call us at 617-726-4600.
Inpatient Services
If you require a hospital admission to Mass General, we provide close collaboration with the admitting attending physician.
