On June 8, MGH staff joined other Mass General Brigham institutions to march in unison during the annual Boston Pride Parade. The MGH LGBTQ Employee Resource Group, the MGH Sexual Health Clinic and the MGH Transgender Health Program were joined by colleagues from Mass General Brigham, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and McLean Hospital to celebrate Pride Month. “The common theme in these celebrations was the idea of unity – unity across MGH, unity across Mass General Brigham, unity across our community,” says Josue Espinoza, manager in the MGH Transgender Health Program. “These different programs work to make sure every patient who walks through our door knows they will be treated with respect and receive the care they need.”
