If you have symptoms, call your primary care provider before coming to the hospital.

For your safety and the safety of others, please do not come to an urgent care clinic or emergency room unless you have been instructed to do so. If you have life-threatening symptoms like difficulty breathing or chest pressure, please call 911.

We are working very hard to implement policies to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect the patients in our care. Please know that many of our institutions are restricting entrances to better control and screen the people coming through their doors.

Patients with appointments must use one of these open entrances to enter the hospital:

  • White: Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Gray: Open from 5:30 am – 1:30 am, seven days a week
  • Wang: Open from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday
  • Yawkey: Open from 5:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Entrances are staffed by Mass General Police & Security. Information Desk Staff will be available during designated hours.

Thank you for helping us keep our community safe by limiting the spread of the virus and allowing our teams to care for the sickest patients.

Parking Updates: Working to Expand Capacity

Massachusetts General Hospital offers parking for patients and visitors at the Fruit Street, Parkman Street, Yawkey Center and Charles River Plaza garages on our main campus. We also offer valet parking at the Wang and Yawkey Centers.

Additional parking options include nearby private parking garages and parking lots as well as limited street parking.

Mass General is continuously monitoring the use of our parking sites. We are also working with public garages in our area to potentially expand temporary capacity.
