Dr. Kevin Raskin specializes in benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system. He is an active educator for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Raskin earned a BA from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1991 and a MD from Tel Aviv University in 1997. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Raskin completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Raskin has been an Orthopaedic Oncology Surgeon at MGH since 2003. He is a member of the Sarcoma and Connective Tissue Center and Director of the Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship Program at Mass General. And he is an Associated Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School where he teaches residents, fellows and medical students both in and out of the operating room.

Dr. Raskin's research interests include studying the survival of patients with different types of cancer. Through an extensive database maintained by the Orthopaedic Oncology Service at MGH, Dr. Raskin and the other surgeons in the Oncology Service are able to study the outcomes of their surgeries and how those surgeries effect their patient's lives.
