Dr. Ebru Oral inducted into the National Academy of Inventors' Fellows Program
Ebru Oral, PhD, Associate Director of the Harris Orthopaedics Laboratory, has been inducted as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). Dr. Oral was elected as a Fellow in 2019, and, in November 2021, she attended the induction ceremony in Tampa.

Election to the AIMBE College of Fellows is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to a medical and biological engineer.
Dr. William Harris awarded 2018 Distinguished Contributions to Orthopaedics Award
William Harris, MD, director emeritus of the Department of Orthopaedics, has received the 2018 Distinguished Contributions to Orthopaedics Award from the American Orthopaedic Association. This award is presented annually to recognize outstanding leaders in orthopaedic surgery whose work results in sustained and substantial contribution and leadership through clinical, educational, research or other meritorious means.
