About Colleen McGauley, NP

Colleen’s passion is caring for children and families to help improve their quality of life through patient education, partnership, and evidence-based practice. Colleen has a sincere interest in the orthopaedic population and assisting patients through the initial diagnosis, preoperative, and postoperative course. Colleen collaborates and coordinates care with the Children's Orthopaedics team.

Colleen completed her graduate and undergraduate studies at Boston College. In 2019, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Colleen has worked at the MGH since 2015 as a pediatric intensive care nurse. Through her critical care and outpatient surgical experience, she is able to provide holistic and comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan. Colleen has participated in numerous research and international learning experiences throughout her professional and academic career.
