About Jackie Maccormack-Gagnon, PharmD, BCPS
Jacqueline MacCormack-Gagnon, PharmD, BCPS, is the director of pharmacy for medication use policy and informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. MacCormack-Gagnon provides leadership in medication safety, formulary management, drug policy and pharmacy information systems at the hospital. Her areas of focus include promoting the safe and efficacious use of medication, a culture of safety and the ongoing development and innovation of pharmacy clinical information systems.
Prior to her current position, Dr. MacCormack-Gagnon held the position of drug policy coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital. In this role she lead the restructuring of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Safety Committee. Prior to joining Mass General in 2015, she held the positions of clinical pharmacy manager and of clinical coordinator at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. MacCormack-Gagnon earned her doctor of pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and a PGY-2 Residency in Geriatrics at the Boston Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
