About John Marshall, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, FCCM

John Marshall is the director of clinical pharmacy services at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Marshall oversees clinical pharmacy practice at Mass General, focusing on efficient, timely and optimal pharmaceutical care. 

Dr. Marshall completed his doctor of pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin, and his post-graduate pharmacy training at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Prior to joining the leadership team at Mass General, he was a nationally recognized critical care pharmacist and educator. He has won numerous practice and teaching awards, and is currently a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM). 

Dr. Marshall’s research interests center around optimal delivery of care, and the role of the pharmacist on multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Marshall is currently an associate professor of clinical pharmacy at Northeastern University, and also serves as the director of graduate pharmacy education at Mass General.
