Throughout the month of March, the MGH Center for the Environment and Health (CEH) – in collaboration with Harvard University’s Green Medicine Initiative and Food Literacy Project – is inviting MGHers to take on the Plant Powered 30 Challenge: an initiative that encourages more plant-forward eating over a 30-day period. Eating a plant-forward diet has several positive health and environmental impacts.

Staff interested in participating in the Plant Powered 30 Challenge are invited to join a Slack page, which will allow them to chat and share photos, recipes and resources with other MGHers taking the challenge. Participants can also track the number of plant-based meals they’ve eaten on Slack – whether from Eat Street Café, from satellite offices, or from home. The MGHer with the most plant-based meals logged at the end of the month will win a $100 prize.
