MARVELOUSLY MARVEL: Batman and Superman may be the most recognizable superheroes, but on April 27 the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center celebrated the pint-sized power of patients undergoing cancer treatment as part of National Superhero Day. With the help of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, the Museum of Science and the Boston Bruins, Yawkey 8 was transformed into a Superhero Training Center, complete with a Kryptonite Dash, Spidey Web Capture and face painting. Patients – including Thomas Barry Jones, 5, left – and their siblings received capes, masks and an official superhero certificate honoring their bravery and strength.
