About Carly Theriault, PT, DPT, ATC

Dr. Carly Theriault was born and raised in Salem, MA. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England (UNE) in Portland, ME in 2016 and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UNE in 2019. While at UNE she gained experience working with the Men and Women’s Soccer teams as well as Women’s Hockey. Carly completed clinical rotations at various high schools, outpatient physical therapy clinics, and hospitals in New England, as well as working per diem as a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer in the Greater Boston area.

Growing up, Carly played a variety of sports and in high school decided she wanted to pursue physical therapy to help rehabilitate injured athletes. She has been involved in a multitude of volunteer activities ranging from adaptive sports to event medical coverage and became certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in 2015. Carly considers herself a lifelong learner and is dedicated to growing as a health care professional in order to provide better care to her patients. In her free time, Carly enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends, working out, and playing Spikeball.
