About Jacob Fine, PT, DPT

Dr. Jacob Fine, of Pittsburgh, PA, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD, in 2013. While attending the University of Maryland he participated in both club basketball and volleyball for all four years. Upon graduating, Jacob moved back to Pittsburgh to work as a rehabilitation aide in a large sports medicine clinic, where he found his true passion for sports physical therapy. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. During his time at the University of Pittsburgh, he gained valuable experience in the field of sports physical therapy as a part of a multidisciplinary team that oversaw the treatment of all varsity athletes at Saint Vincent College.

Jacob was a multi-sport athlete from elementary school through his senior year in college, as well as an avid sports fan of all Pittsburgh based professional and collegiate sports teams. Jacob’s clinical interests include all lower extremity injuries, the overhead athlete, and adaptive sports. He is a current member of the Massachusetts chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association.
