About Katherine Tarantino, PT, DPT, SCS

Dr. Katherine Tarantino is a graduate of Northeastern University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science in 2014 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. Katherine completed her Sports Physical Therapy Residency through the Massachusetts General Hospital Sports PT/Northeastern University program in 2018. She is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Katherine is also a Part-Time Lecturer at Northeastern University in the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Katherine’s clinical experience has ranged from acute care treatment of orthopedic/trauma conditions to sideline coverage at athletic events. Her areas of expertise include sports medicine, orthopedics, and manual therapy. Katherine’s clinical interests include treatment of overhead athletes, running-related injuries, and dance-related injuries. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys running, hiking, volleyball, skiing and traveling.
