Shumika Jean-Baptiste is the Staff Administrator for the CARE Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University and pursing her BA in Business Management.

 

In her role as a Staff Administrator, she handles Executive Director, Dr. Jonathan Jackson, and Program Manager, Helen Hemley's schedule. She is also responsible for coordinating meetings and events and handling the financial aspects of CARE. Shumika has a broad background in finance, as an Exchange Traded Funds/Fixed Income Specialist and served as a Brand Ambassador, for a reputable Fortune 500 company. She also has background in administration, in a Biotechnology non-profit organization, concentrated on ALS disease and she is a certified event planner. 

 

Here at CARE, aside from her main role, Shumika aims to be more involved in the Mental Health Awareness campaigns and help achieve our mission by bringing together diverse communities to our clinical research.
