You are invited to join a virtual Spanish-speaking cooking demonstration on March 10, 2022 at 4:00 pm EST, hosted by the Kidney Transplant Program team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Transplant Center, the National Kidney Foundation New England and Joslin Diabetes Center. From the comfort of your own kitchen, learn how to re-create a popular Caribbean dish as a meal that is packed with nutrients for a healthy kidney.
The demonstration will be conducted entirely in Spanish with Giovanna Huyke, the chef from La Fábrica Central, and Nicole Patience, a nutritionist from the Joslin Diabetes Center.
All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a cooking kit and a grocery store gift card. Participants who do not have access to a computer will be able to call-in and join the webinar by phone. The demonstration will be recorded and shared with all who register in advance.
