At this convenient location we offer fully integrated oncology care under one roof, with medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology consult services. The oncology team also includes on-site genetic counselors, nutritionists, and social workers. In addition, with the Mass General Cancer Center being a leader in targeted therapies, patients have access to clinical trial consults and referrals.

This location offers a coordinated team approach tailored to the individual needs of each patient, and patients can expect the same seamless coordination of care that they would receive in Boston. We coordinate our patients' care through specialized clinical centers and programs, ensuring that every patient benefits from a team of specialists who focus on their particular type of cancer.

Via Mass Pike West (From Boston)
Take Exit 15 and follow instructions below for Route 95/128 Northbound.

Via Mass Pike East (From Framingham/Natick)
Take Exit 14 and follow instructions below for Route 95/128 Northbound.

Via Route 95/128 Northbound

  • Take Exit 43B (Exit 43A–B – Totten Pond Road/3rd Avenue) (Formerly exit 27)
  • Follow signs for Exit 43B, going underneath the bridge and exiting right to follow Winter Street/Totten Pond Road (Formerly exit 27B)
  • Bear right off the exit, then right over the highway.
  • Proceed straight through the first lights, and left through the second set of lights. (The Embassy Suites should now be on your right.)
  • Stay in the right lane and follow signs that state: Second Ave/Bear Hill Rd.
  • Turn right and then turn left into the BLUE parking garage, 52 Second Avenue.

Via Route 95/128 Southbound

  • Take Exit 43B (Winter St. Waltham) and bear right off the exit (Formerly exit 27B).
  • Proceed straight through the first lights and left through the second set. (Embassy Suites should now be on your right.)
  • Stay in the right lane and follow the signs: Second Ave / Bear Hill Rd.
  • Turn right and then turn left into the BLUE parking garage, 52 Second Avenue.

Via Route 93 North or South

  • Take the Route 95/128 south exit and take Exit 43B - Winter St. (Formerly exit 27B)

Mind Body Program for Cancer Survivors

The Mass General Cancer Center is pleased to offer the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine’s highly regarded SMART-3RP training in an online format on Zoom. This program is designed to assist patients who have completed cancer treatment by providing critical tools to help them cope with the experience of their diagnosis and treatment as well as adjust to life after treatment. Mind Body Program for Individuals at High Risk for Cancer

This program is designed for individuals without a cancer diagnosis but who carry a genetic variant putting them at higher risk for cancer. The program will provide critical tools to help individuals cope with the experience of being identified to be at high genetic risk for cancer. Learn more here.

Volunteer

Volunteering at the Mass General Cancer Center in Waltham is a rewarding experience. As a supplemental resource for patients and families, volunteers who work the Cancer Center provide more than just their time and energy – it’s also to offer support, courage, solace and joy to our patients. You may help patients navigate the Waltham facility, or help them to their car. You may offer patients snacks, or simply talk to patients and their loved ones to see if they need anything during the visit.

Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and contribute their special talents for many different reasons. Some are students fulfilling service requirements, while others are adults wishing to give back to their community.
