Realizing several limitations of the Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs), a new concept of Acceptable Quality Dose (AQD) was developed:
A number of countries are implementing this concept. Currently, the following countries are collecting data in cooperation with Mass General: Brunei, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Philippines, Qatar and UAE.
