The Massachusetts General Hospital Orthopaedic Trauma Service under the direction of Division Chief, Dr. Thuan Ly, was pleased to have been chosen to host the inaugural class of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) Roy Sanders Traveling Fellows in September.

The aim of the fellowship program is to provide an immersive leadership experience for early to mid-career orthopaedic trauma surgeons to broaden their clinical understanding and to improve their networking by developing professional connections at nationally recognized institutions.

The fellows' busy four-day visit to Boston during their cross-country tour of renowned orthopaedic trauma centers included meetings with hospital leadership, facility and recreational tours, surgical observation, and culminated with a didactic academic program in Mass General's historic Ether Dome.
