About Daniel Rubin, MD, PhD

Dr. Rubin is a critical care neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Instructor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rubin cares for patients admitted to the MGH Neurosciences ICU as well as after their ICU admission in the MGH Neurorecovery clinic. He also cares for patients through the MGH Acute Stoke and Telestroke Services. As a faculty member of the Center for Neurotechnology and Neurorecovery, he conducts research focused on the application of computational neuroscientific principals to clinical problems encountered in the ICU to drive the development of novel tools and technologies to improve the outcomes of patients admitted with acute neurologic injury. 

Dr. Rubin received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.D./Ph.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and neurology residency and neurocritical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.
