About Alex Bender, MD, PhD
Alex Bender, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist and epileptologist at Mass General Brigham. He earned his MD and PhD from the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine, and subsequently completed residency training in Neurology at Mass General Brigham/Harvard Medical School and a fellowship in Epilepsy at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Bender currently works as an epilepsy attending in the Division of Epilepsy and Neurophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has clinical and research expertise in epilepsy surgery evaluation, neuromodulation, neurophysiology, and cognitive impairment in epilepsy.
