Ordering 3D Imaging

The 3D Imaging Lab provides 3D imaging for CT, MR and US exams performed at all Mass General Imaging locations.

Ordering

3D imaging is available for CT, MR and US exams performed at all Mass General Imaging locations with no added demand on a patient's time. Please specify 3D imaging at the time an exam is ordered.

• 3D views are available on the same day of the exam and approximately one hour after the exam is completed in urgent cases
• Same-day appointments are often available
• All exams require a physician's order
• Call 617-724-XRAY to order an exam or order an exam online

Locations

Outpatients have the option of receiving their test at any of the Mass General Imaging's convenient locations.
