Nurse-midwives at Mass General provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care for patients who are not considered to have a "high-risk" pregnancy. To make an appointment with the Midwifery Service, contact the Obstetrics Program and request an appointment with a midwife.

Anne-Marie Armstrong, CNM, CNP, MSN, is a staff nurse-midwife in the Midwifery Division in the Department of OB/GYN at Mass General and a teaching associate at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests include mind-body connection and facilitating wellness for pregnant patients. She cares for patients on Labor and Delivery and inpatient units and is conversational in Arabic. Anne-Marie studied midwifery in England and holds her MSN from Northeastern University.
