About Samantha Bateman, MS, RDN, CSO, LDN

Samantha Bateman is a board certified specialist in oncology nutrition. She has been with Mass General since March 2020. She enjoys providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and support to individuals with cancer and cancer survivors. Samantha follows patients in the main campus Cancer Center, pediatric patients in the Proton Center, and patients in the Boston Lifestyle Medicine Clinic.

Samantha, an Ohio native, attended The Ohio State University and completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Nutrition in 2015. She completed her Master’s Degree in Allied Medicine, specializing in Clinical Nutrition, and dietetic internship in 2017, also at The Ohio State University. Samantha also completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellowship in 2017, while working in a multidisciplinary clinic with children and adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Samantha moved to the Boston area after spending three years working in oncology in New Jersey.

Outside of time spent caring for her patients, Samantha enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog.
